ABUNDANCE GRATITUDE GRACE LOVE HOPE PASSION CREATIVITY
Do you honor promises to others, but fail miserably when it comes to keeping promises to yourself?
I get it, you put everyone else's needs before your own - myself included. Our familys need us; friends rely on us; our coworkers depend on us. But, what about you? Can you count on you?
What if your success depends on it?
To succed you MUST be able to count on YOU.
So, what can you do to hold yourself truly accountable? Here are a three strategies I am going to use to stay on track. I hope you'll give them a try, too! Let me know what works for you in the comments below.
Follow through and keep your word to yourself!
Keeping promises to yourself simply requires creative planning. Now, I didn't say it was easy because nothing worth accomplishing ever is! But, with a few strategies in place success is bound to follow.
Yes, One product can do it all!
If you can only invest in one beauty product, this is the one! From acne to anti-aging, there are so many beauty choices on the market. But, what if you have a limited budget and multiple needs? Beautycounter's Cleansing Balm is something you need to take a closer look at.
Cleanse and moisturize
This luxurious balm does more than just cleanse your skin. It remove make-up and stubborn mascara while also moisturizing the skin. Rinse it off or leave on for an overnight hydrating mask, the choice is all yours!
Leave it on while you sleep.
When your skin is feeling particularly parched or fatigued, use it as an overnight treatment to intensify the hydrating and nourishing results. As you sleep, your skin’s natural repair cycle kicks in and the balm’s butters, like shea and mango seed, can soak in more deeply and completely. The next morning, wake up to dewy and supple skin—no rinsing required.
10 Minute Radiant Boost
If getting balm on your pillow isn't your thing, try this instead: rather than rinsing it off immediately when you wash your face in the morning, leave the cleansing balm on for ten extra minutes to give all those oils—like raspberry seed, jojoba and sweet almond—time to absorb below the surface and release their nutrients to boost radiance from within.
Simply tap a tiny amount onto the tops of your cheekbones and down the bridge of your nose with your middle and ring fingers to catch the light and illuminate your complexion. Voila! Instant natural-looking glow (that’s actually really good for you, thanks to a healthy dose of skin-brightening vitamin C).
Calms and Heals Irritated Skin
Additionally, the multi-tasking balm not only calms irritatied and red skin it heals acne and over time eliminates dark spots.
Elbows, knees and knuckles, oh my!
With its high concentration of natural butters and oils, our cleansing balm is an easy way to soothe and treat areas prone to chronic dryness—like elbows, knees, and knuckles. You'll love using it to soften cuticles before getting our mani game going on. Just rub a small amount where needed, as often as needed to keep those irritation-prone areas supple and smooth all winter.
‘Tis the time of year when we love to rock a deep red or plum pout, but nothing kills that dream as fast as chapped, flakey lips literally shrinking from the cold. Cleansing Balm can help with that, too. Pucker up and layer it on for 15 minutes, then wipe off gently with a warm, damp cleansing cloth, oh that reminds me...
Comes with a Cleaning Cloth, too!
The cleansing balm comes with a FREE reusable 100% muslin cloth, softer and easier on skin than a traditional washcloth. So, whatcha waiting for?
How to use...
Use nightly. In light, circular motions, massage an almond-sized amount into skin, applying gentle pressure to cheeks, forehead, and eyebrows. Dampen cleansing cloth in hand-hot water to gently wipe off balm. Rinse skin thoroughly with cool water. The formula can also be used as an intensely nourishing over night face mask.
How do you balm?
Do you use Beautycounter's Cleansing Balm, if you do, let us know how you balm. Curious minds want to know. :)

Beautycounter puts my health first.
First of all, Beautycounter puts my health first. Before toxic ingredients, before inflated profits, with Beautycounter, I don’t have to sacrifice my health for the sake of beauty. And, let’s face it, if I am going to pay attention to what I put IN my body, then what I put ON my body should be just as CLEAN, right?
Beautycounter cares about my family.
Beautycounter cares about the health and prosperity of my family. The mission of Beautycounter is to put safe and beautiful products in the hands of everyone. Products we can safely share with everyone in our family without compromising our health. Additionally, Beautycounter is giving me, not just the Big Box stores, the opportunity to earn a living caring for the people I love and friends I meet along my journey. For me, helping women, young and old, "be beautiful" is more than what I do, it is what I love.
Beauty is more than just potions and serums.
You see, for me, beauty is more than the sought after flawless complexion, zapping zits or eliminating wrinkles. For a women who is confident, courageous and passionate is the most beautiful to me. And, if a "wonderfully made" moisturizer and a little concealer to hide a blemish makes her feel more feminine and ready to tackle the project before her, that's the kind of beauty I am all about!
Keep in mind, "wonderfully made"might mean store about without toxic and synthetic ingredients or DIY with all natural essential oils, nut oils, butters and other fine ingredients provided by our greatest Healer; either way, clean, performing skincare and make-up is my thing.
I do make every cleanser, toner, moisturizer and serum I apply to my skin..at home right in my kitchen because I love to make them. But, that's doesn't mean I expect everyone to do it the way I do. All women should be able to find safe and beautiful products. Whether I'm teaching natural beauty classes at the local health food store or demonstrating the benefits of Beautycounter's amazing products or their business model in a friends' kitchen, I am still sowing and learning my trade. I'm planting seeds as I teach the easy to follow how to's of making your own products or educating women how to read labels and seek products with all safe ingredients. In the end, either way you go, everyone's health improves, women are feeling more confidence and beautiful and, for those interested, entrepreneurs are born!
Lastly, a make-up line, 100% verified by EWG, that really works!
Lastly, whether you make or buy your skin care products, most women want a little makeup. Either way, makeup must be just as clean as our skincare. This isn't always easy to find. So, what really attracted this DIY Natural Beauty gal is the Beautycounter make-up line, 100% verified by the Environment Work Group. Not only free of so many toxic ingredients found in your typical over the counters lines, it follows through on it promises. It offers true solutions. And, it works! You won’t be disappointed.
Lastly, always remember the Bible says in Song of Solomon, Chapter 4, verse 7: …..You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you...
But, sometimes, a glossy lip, full lashes and a little rouge is nice, too and you shouldn't have to compromise your health to feel and look beautiful!
Be-U-tiful this week! I'll be watching
P.S. Please look me up on Instagram and Facebook and say hello!
